The 4-hour wild water rafting starts from Barrio Tamugan in Calinan district, and then ends at Lacson.
The water course features almost 30 rapids of varying degrees of difficulty in the 15-kilometer-run of rough water of Davao River. The rafting experience is divided into varied stages to ensure everyone gets the maximum fun, thrill, and excited.
The several mighty rapids of twists, bends, washing machine-like motions and turns along the river makes it more challenging and exciting to wild water rafting enthusiasts and for the extreme sports seekers.
Aside from the thrill of the rapids, one can also observe on the lush greenery of trees that undergrew along the river banks. There are many sightings along the river trail, wildlife, hanging bridges, falls, monkeys, hawks and the famous “Balinsasayaw” bird.
However, after 2 hours in the river, we paused for a lunch break for 30 minutes along the flat surface river bank. The location is cool andnit emits a feeling of having a picnic by the beach because the area is sandy.
The next 2 hours of rafting is experiencing more extreme rapids than that of the start, thus tine to shout out your fear, and keep your paddles up.
