From Cebu City, take a bus bound to Badian or a "v-hire" which you can get in at Cebu South terminal or at Citi link. At the jump off, from the highway, some locales will offer as a tourist guide, since the no form of vehicle are allowed in the trail.
The popular bamboo rafts which can be rented out from one of the nearby stands, allows one to have a unique experience as it brings you closer to the falls itself thereby offering a free “waterfall massage”. It is a great massage one can ever experience. Soft?or hard massage? You better prefer the latter since the falls offers nothing else but a hard massage. What a relief from the long trek you just had.
One can discover the source of the Kawasan Falls. This is also where the water comes fresh from the mountain. There is also a hydro power plant in Kawasan which is the basic source of electricity in the area.

Truly Kawasan WaterFalls adventure is unique and worth it.
TRIVIA
According to locales, it is not every year that a guest dies at the falls but every two years.
The deaths were a warning, according to a quack doctor or locally known as “mananambal,” whose services was sought on the death of a tourist several years ago. It takes some time for the body of a person who drowns at the falls to surface, which thus fuels the stories. A worker, who works for the Kawasan Multi-Purpose Cooperative, said there is a story that the spirits of the forest locally known as “Engkanto” , asks for 60 human souls in exchange for disturbing their once peaceful place which is now congested with cottages put up by several resorts in the three-tier falls. Those are just tales but some say that black figures appear in the pictures of tourists. Some even claim that white ladies appear in photographs. Mystical stories are nothing new at one of Cebu’s popular tourist destination. Such stories makes the Kawasan Falls far more interesting than it has ever been.
Dare to explore and experience it yourself. As for me, Kawasan Falls is but one of those places I would want to revisit over and over again if I had to.
