MAMBUKAL MOUNTAIN RESORT| Developed by a Japanese architect Kokichi Paul Ishiwata in the year 1972, the Mambukal Resort was primarily built as a bath house and a picnic garden that provides a cool haven. The Negrenses was their first guests to experience it.

Soonafter, Mambukal Mountain Resort was found out to have many beautiful sites, both made by man and by Mother Nature thus making it ideal for family and group outings, as well as business conferences.
With the goal of providing relaxation at its best, created are the boating lagoon, swimming and dipping pool, butterfly garden and the kiddie pool. If you are adventurous and opt for physical challenge, there’s a Rock Climbing Wall and the thing called,"Slide for Life", an ideal location for viewing deck for more encounters with the nature. And trekking is possible up to the seventh falls.

The resort lays 366 MASL and serves as a gateway to the famous Mt. Kanlaon- Volcano. The hot springs with sulfuric soda water gain much attention from tourists, the Japanese in particular, because it is known for its therapeutic treatment that makes one relaxed and is said to relieve one from stress and fatigue as the hot and cold water supply is coming from the mountain itself.

Of course, if you want to stay overnight for you to experience the nature within the city. There’s the Tourist Lodge which offers standard rooms and suites. There are single air-conditioned cottages or campsite to choose from, as well as picnic sheds for day-trip visitors. There are stalls at the resort serving local dishes at a reasonable price.

It is a really cool and friendly environment and is very accessible from the city. One may reach the resort for only 30 minutes by private vehicle and 45 minutes by public passenger vehicle.
